01 — WHAT WE CAN CAPTURE

THE BIG PICTURE.
THE DETAIL YOU NEED.

01

Events & venues

Establish the setting and show how an event sits within it. Aerial footage adds another perspective to venue films, event highlights and promotional content.

02

Brand & location films

Reveal a place, follow the landscape or give a campaign room to breathe. Plan aerial sequences around the story and the images needed for the final edit.

03

Film & documentary

Give a scene context through scale, geography and movement. Drone footage can be a defined contribution to your production or part of a wider cinematography brief.

04

Roofs & building sites

Capture a view of areas that are difficult to see from ground level. Supply visual material to help builders review a roof, discuss the work and prepare a quote.

02 — EVENT & BRAND EXPERIENCE

From the air.
Into the edit.

Roan’s work for Ross Mac includes drone cinematography alongside filming, editing and short-form content. Aerial footage contributes to the wider story of the event and its setting.

A drone sequence can establish the venue, connect the audience to the location and give the ground-level footage a sense of place. We plan those elements together when the brief calls for a complete film.

03 — PRACTICAL ROOF & SITE FOOTAGE

SEE THE ROOF.
PLAN THE WORK.

ROOF FOOTAGE / DETAIL, DRAINAGE & SITE OVERVIEWOPEN FILM ↗

A useful view before the scaffolding goes up.

Roan has used drones on building sites to capture roofs, areas associated with leaks and places where water collects. The footage helps builders see the areas in question and prepare quotes before committing to scaffolding for an initial view.

Share the footage with your builder to support a discussion about access, repairs and the next steps. The filming is focused on what they need to see.

DISCUSS YOUR ROOF OR SITE ↗

    Understand the layout

Show the roof and its relationship to the surrounding building.

  2. 02 / AREAS OF INTEREST

    Get a clearer view

Focus on the areas your builder wants to review, including visible water collection.

  3. 03 / QUOTING & NEXT STEPS

    Support the assessment

Provide visual material for the builder to review when preparing a scope and quote.

04 — HOW WE WORK

A CLEAR BRIEF.
A USEFUL VIEW.

  1. 01 / THE PURPOSE

Know what you need to see

Start with the film, location or practical question. For a roof or site, identify the areas your builder wants to review.

  2. 02 / THE LOCATION

    Plan the shoot

Review the location, access, flight requirements and weather. Agree the approach and a suitable filming window before the shoot.

  3. 03 / THE CAPTURE

    Get the useful perspective

Capture the planned aerial views. Creative shoots follow the visual brief; roof and site work focuses on the areas agreed with you.

  4. 04 / THE DELIVERY

    Make the footage useful

Receive the agreed footage or edited film. Define the format, finishing and any integration with ground-level filming when scoping the job.

The right movement.
For the right purpose.

Start with what the viewer needs to understand. That might be the atmosphere of a venue, the scale of a location or a roof detail that helps a builder plan the job.

For immersive movement through interiors, explore FPV business fly-throughs. For a complete campaign film, see brand video production.

05 — PLANNING THE SHOOT

A few useful
answers.

Can drone filming be booked on its own?

Yes. Book a standalone aerial shoot or include drone footage within a wider film. Let us know whether you need footage for your own editor or a finished production.

Have you used drones for events?

Yes. Roan has used drone cinematography in work for Ross Mac / RM Event Solutions, alongside ground-level filming, editing and social content. The project page shows the wider production work.

Can you capture footage to help a builder quote for roof work?

Yes. Roan has filmed roofs on building sites to help builders review areas associated with leaks and places where water collects. The footage can support an initial assessment and quotation before arranging scaffolding for a closer look or the work itself.

Does roof footage include a building survey or leak diagnosis?

The service provides visual footage for your builder or relevant specialist to assess. It does not include a formal building survey, thermal imaging or a guaranteed diagnosis. Whether closer access or scaffolding is needed depends on the job.

What is the difference between this and FPV?

Cinematic aerial filming is suited to establishing views, scale and the wider surroundings. FPV brings a more immersive journey through a space. For interiors and business fly-throughs, explore the dedicated FPV service.

What happens if the weather is unsuitable?

Weather and the conditions at the location inform the filming plan. We discuss scheduling and what happens if the shoot needs to move when agreeing the booking.

Where do you work and what should I send?

Playback works across London, Essex and beyond. Send the location, purpose, preferred dates and the footage or final film you need. For a roof or site, include ground-level photos and the areas you want your builder to see.
